Presidents of Mongolia and the Russian Federation Exchange Congratulatory Letters

Ulaanbaatar, August 30, 2024 /MONTSAME/. Commemorating the historic 85th Anniversary of the Battle of Khalkhiin Gol, President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin exchanged Congratulatory Letters.

President Khurelsukh expressed heartfelt congratulations to President Putin and the Russian people on behalf of the Mongolian people on the occasion of the 85th Anniversary of the Joint Victory in the Battle of Khalkhiin Gol. President Khurelsukh emphasized that the Anniversary is solemnly celebrated to honor the bravery and sacrifices of the soldiers who fought for the independence and territorial integrity of the two countries, to ensure their heroic deeds are passed down to future generations, and to consolidate the deep bond of friendship between the peoples of Mongolia and Russia, which was forged in the shared pursuit of peace and development.

President Vladimir Putin expressed his sincerest congratulations to President Khurelsukh on the Victory in the Battle of Khalkhiin Gol and wished the President good health and success, and the people of Mongolia continued happiness and prosperity. President Putin emphasized that the tradition of friendship and mutual support between the two countries, strengthened during times of adversity, serves as a firm foundation for the continued growth of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Mongolia and the Russian Federation.
