Vice President of the People’s Republic of China to Visit Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar, September 3, 2024 /MONTSAME/. Vice President of the People’s Republic of China Han Zheng will visit Mongolia on September 6-8, 2024.
The visit is to be held within the framework of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the People's Republic of China, at the invitation of the Government of Mongolia.
Vice President Wang Qishan visited Mongolia on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the People's Republic of China in 2019.
Mr. Han Zheng was appointed to the position of Vice President of the People's Republic of China in 2023. Previously, Mr. Han Zheng worked as the Mayor of Shanghai from 2003-2012, Secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Chinese Communist Party from 2012-2017, and Vice Premier of the People's Republic of China from 2018-2023.
After the visit to Mongolia, Vice President of the People's Republic of China Han Zheng will attend the Eastern Economic Forum held in Vladivostok City, the Russian Federation.
