State Visit to Turkmenistan by President of Mongolia Concludes

Ashgabat, October 14, 2024 /MONTSAME/. President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa’s State Visit to Turkmenistan concluded on October 13, 2024.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Atdaev Batyr and other officials saw off President Khurelsukh at the Ashgabat International Airport.
During the State Visit, the Heads of State of Mongolia and Turkmenistan held a tête-à-tête and official talks, exchanged views on bilateral relations and on cooperation in international and regional fora, and issued a joint statement as an outcome of the State Visit. President Khurelsukh met Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty (People’s Council) of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow and other officials during the State Visit.
This was the first State Visit between Mongolia and Turkmenistan since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 1992, which was significant in turning a new page in bilateral relations and cooperation.
