Mongolian "Moon Dance" Wins Bronze Medal at the 2024 WDSF World Championship Formation Latin
SportsUlaanbaatar, December 9, 2024 /MONTSAME/. The World Championship Formation Latin, under the auspices of the World Dance Sport Federation, was concluded in Vienna, the Republic of Austria on December 7, 2024.
Two Mongolian dance groups took part in the 2024 WDSF World Championship Formation Latin, and one of them, the "Moon Dance" group, delivered a stellar performance, where they claimed a bronze medal and a trophy. This was the tenth time the dance group participated in the World Championship, and their recent success included winning silver and bronze medals for the second time in the past three years.
Two out of the six teams that advanced to the final round of the Championship were from Mongolia. Specifically, two teams from Germany, Austria, and Mongolia made it to the top six.
The other Mongolian dance group that accompanied “Moon Dance” in the top six, was "Star.” They secured fourth place with their dance number titled "Mongol Spirit," performed to promote Mongolia and choreographed in line with the "Years to Visit Mongolia" theme. This marks the twelfth time the "Star" group has competed in the World Championship and the third time where they have reached the finals of the Championship.
