Mongolian Team Crowned World Champions at the World Snow Sculpting Championship

Ulaanbaatar, January 20, 2025 /MONTSAME/. On January 15-19, 2025, the World Snow Sculpting Championship took place in Stillwater, Minnesota, the United States, bringing together snow sculptors from across the globe. The Mongolian team emerged victorious from the 12 participating nations, making history with its awe-inspiring creation.  


The Mongolian trio of Ts. Batmunkh, B. Gobisaikhan, and A. Ikhbandi crafted a stunning frosty masterpiece titled "Voice," which earned them the title of World Snow Sculpting Champions. This marks the first time a Mongolian team has won the World Snow Sculpting Championship. 


Teams began fashioning their snowy creations on January 15, 2025. The competition concluded on January 19, 2025, with judges evaluating the pieces. Specifically, Mexican sculptors claimed the silver medal, while the Taiwanese team secured the bronze medal.
