Honorary Ceremony for Mothers with the Order of Maternal Glory Held at the State Palace

Ulaanbaatar, March 7, 2025 /MONTSAME/. In celebration of the International Women’s Day, an Honorary Ceremony for Mothers with the Order of Maternal Glory was held at the State Palace of Mongolia on March 7, 2025. 


President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa attended the Ceremony, extending heartfelt gratitude and best wishes for the health, happiness, and well-being of all mothers, girls, and women. The President emphasized Mongolia’s long-standing tradition of venerating mothers and respecting women, a legacy spanning centuries. President Khurelsukh emphasized that this day is not only a celebration but also a moment to reflect on the country's ongoing efforts to protect and uphold women’s rights.


The President underlined the State's commitment to supporting population growth by recognizing and rewarding mothers who have given birth to and raised multiple children. The Head of State noted that starting this year, the monetary reward granted to mothers with the Order of Maternal Glory (First and Second Class) has been doubled. 


Highlighting the vital role mothers play in shaping the future of the country, President Khurelsukh praised their unwavering love and devotion to raising children to become educated, compassionate, and patriotic citizens. The President noted that their contribution to the nation’s progress is immeasurable. 


President Khurelsukh wished for every mother’s home to be filled with warmth and laughter, their children to grow up happy and accomplished, and their families to thrive in peace and prosperity for generations to come. 


The Ceremony brought together 1,000 mothers from all 21 aimags and the Capital City. Organized for the 19th year, the Ceremony was jointly organized by the Association of Mothers with the Order of Maternal Glory, the Office of the President of Mongolia, and the Mongolian Women’s Association.
