State Visit by President of Mongolia to the Czech Republic Concludes

Prague, March 13, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The State Visit by President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa to the Czech Republic, at the invitation of President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel, concluded on March 12, 2025. 


During the State Visit, the two Heads of State held a tête-à-tête and official talks, affirming mutual commitment to expanding bilateral relations across various social and economic sectors. The two sides expressed commitment to collaborate on mutually beneficial projects and programs that would serve as key symbols of the partnership between the two countries.


Marking the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, this State Visit elevated the traditionally friendly relations between Mongolia and the Czech Republic to a Comprehensive Partnership.


During the State Visit, the two sides signed several agreements and cooperation documents in education, environment, agriculture, physical education and sports, law, and paleontology.


President Khurelsukh extended an invitation to President Petr Pavel to pay a State Visit to Mongolia at a time of convenience.


Outcomes of the State Visit: 


- Mongolia and the Czech Republic have advanced their traditionally friendly relations and cooperation to a Comprehensive Partnership.

- Three enterprises signed cooperation agreements worth over MNT 20 billion.

- The two sides agreed to attract investments in infrastructure, public transportation, and the development of the “Kharkhorum” and “New Zuunmod” cities of Mongolia.

- In addition to traditional sectors of cooperation, the two countries will collaborate in advanced technology, innovation, know-how, and transportation logistics.

- The two sides committed to working more closely to protect the rights and interests of the approximately 15,000 Mongolian citizens residing in the Czech Republic.

- Mongolia will increase opportunities for students study at Czech universities under the “President’s Scholar- 2100” Scholarship Program.

- The long-term development policy of Mongolia “Vision-2050” will be aligned with the Czech Republic’s “Czech Agenda 2030.”

- The two sides will cooperate under the “Billion Trees” National Movement of Mongolia and the European Union’s “Forest Partnership” program.

- Under the “Food Revolution” and “White Gold” National Movements of Mongolia, advanced agricultural machinery and equipment will be introduced in the food, agriculture, and crop farming sectors.

- Mongolia will ensure full processing of livestock-originated raw materials and expand exports of finished products to the European market.
