Mongolian Athletes Earn 11 Gold Medals at the World Masters Athletics Indoor Championships

Ulaanbaatar, March 31, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The World Masters Athletics Indoor Championships-2025 took place in Alachua, Florida, the United States, on March 23-30, 2025, at which Mongolian athletes claimed 11 gold medals.
At the Championships, Honored Athlete of Mongolia Radnaa Tseren won six gold medals in the 90-94 age category. Specifically, Mr. Radnaa competed in the 60-, 200-, 400-, 800-, and 1,500-meter races, breaking the world records in the 200- and 1,500-meter races. Moreover, he earned his sixth gold medal in the triple jump category.
Meanwhile, Honored Athlete of Mongolia Tserendolgor Tumurbat achieved five gold medals in the discus throw, javelin throw, shot put, and hammer throw at the Championships. At 87 years old, she has now accumulated a total of 15 World Championship gold medals throughout her career.
