Mongolia to Host the “FIBA 3x3 Ulaanbaatar Super Quest 2025”

Ulaanbaatar, April 9, 2025 /MONTSAME/. With the start of the new season of 3x3 basketball, it has been officially announced that the “FIBA 3x3 Ulaanbaatar Super Quest 2025” basketball tournament will be held at Central Sports Complex in Ulaanbaatar, the Capital City of Mongolia, on April 12-13, 2025.


A total of twelve top teams will participate in the competition, including six teams from Mongolia: “Ulaanbaatar East,” “Ulaanbaatar West,” and “Zavkhan Sainscore,” along with leading teams from China, Singapore, South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan. The participating teams will be divided into four groups, each consisting of three teams. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage of the tournament. The teams that secure the gold and silver medals in this tournament will earn qualification for the upcoming competition in Chengdu.


The participating teams are grouped in the following order: Group A includes Mongolia’s “Ulaanbaatar East,” Japan’s “Nishinomiya,” and Singapore’s “Jumpshot.” Group B consists of Mongolia’s “Ulaanbaatar West,” Singapore’s “Singapore,” and Taiwan’s “Taipei Knights.” Group C features Mongolia’s “Zavkhan Sainscore,” “Darkhan Knights,” and the Republic of Korea’s “Seoul Cosmo.” Group D comprises Mongolia’s “Selenge Bodons,” “Bayankhairkhan Mig,” and China’s “Kunming.” 


The group-stage matches will begin at 03:00 pm (GMT +8) on April 12, 2025, with the opening game between teams “Ulaanbaatar East” and “Nishinomiya.”
