Spanish Football Club "Ramassa" to Play Friendly Match in Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar, April 9, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Players from the Spanish third division football club "Ramassa" will arrive in Mongolia to play a friendly match on April 12, 2025.


As part of their goal to promote football to the wider public, the team will play a friendly match with Mongolian footballers on Sunday, April 13, 2025. The Ramassa club, which boasts a 50-year history, is known for implementing unique projects in both the sports and social sectors. It has gained international recognition through its involvement in initiatives such as the "Common Goal" Movement and the United Nations’ "Football for the Goals" Project, both aimed at contributing to social good.


The Spanish football club's projects focus on promoting gender equality, education, access to basic services, peace, and reducing social inequality. These efforts serve as essential tools for uniting vulnerable groups and supporting their integration into society. Ramassa’s initiatives extend beyond Spain, having launched humanitarian projects in Africa since 2014. The Ramassa club have reached countries such as Ethiopia, Benin, Uganda, Cameroon, Madagascar, Côte d’Ivoire, and the Gambia.


The Ramassa club is known for organizing friendly matches with top local teams, collaborating with local NGOs, funding projects and programs aligned with their core values, and offering training and activities. These efforts are considered valuable contributions to football development.
