Mongolian Tourism Companies Participating in KOFTA 2025 Under the “Go Mongolia” National Brand

Ulaanbaatar, June 6, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Under the “Go Mongolia” National Brand, Mongolian tourism companies are taking part in the Korea World Travel Fair, one of the world’s leading travel exhibitions held in the Republic of Korea.
Last year, Mongolia welcomed a total of 727,000 tourists, of which 194,000, or 26.7 percent, were from the Republic of Korea. More than 80 percent of the South Korean tourists have traveled for leisure and holiday purposes, underscoring the rapid growth of tourism ties between Mongolia and the Republic of Korea. To boost the number of tourists from the country, delegates from the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Mongolia, the Ulaanbaatar Tourism Department, the Ulaanbaatar Theatre, and 28 representatives of nine companies from the Mongolia Tourism Organization are attending the Korea World Travel Fair 2025.
At the Exhibition, the Mongolian delegation is providing information for tourists, promoting tourism products, conducting business meetings, and staging folk art and cultural performances for visitors.
The Korea World Travel Fair is being held for the 40th year, and is considered the largest travel exhibition in the Republic of Korea. Each year, more than 40 countries participate, presenting their tourism potential and cultural heritage. The Exhibition plays an important role in linking domestic and international tourism companies, expanding business partnerships, and cultivating a beneficial market environment.
