Mongolian cyclist takes fourth place at Asian Championship
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian cyclist B.Tegshbayar secured a ninth place finish in men’s adults’ Scratch Race category and fourth place in the Omnium category at the 37th Asian Track Cycling Championship 2017 held in New Delhi, India.
Cyclist B.Tegshbayar has a broad potential ahead to achieve great success in the future, as many competitions are waiting for him. Last year, B.Tegshbayar with an international sport master title won a gold medal in the Scratch Race of the UCI Junior Track Cycling World Championship.
He is an athlete of the “Shiliin Bogd” Club of Sukhbaatar province and has been training at the World Cycling Center of the International Cycling Association since 2016 within the “Track Mongolia” project. Last May, he gained first place of the UCI Junior Track Cycling World Championships in Switzerland.
In this regard, Mongolian cyclists will attend the Asian Road Cycling Championship, which will be held in Bahrain on February 24 to March 3.
