Hanns Seidel Foundation to collaborate for promotion of Mongolia’s Constitution

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. On September 30, Senior Advisor to the Speaker of the State Great Khural (Parliament) D.Lundeejantsan and Director of the
Parliamentary Research Institute of the Secretariat of the State Great Khural
T. Bayarmaa met with Head of the Hanns Seidel Foundation Representative Office
in Mongolia Ts. Sarantuya.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on
cooperation between the Secretariat of the State Great Khural and the Hanns
Seidel Foundation, and discussed the opportunities of strengthening capacity of the office of the legislative body, promoting certain laws, and providing
support for dissemination of parliamentary education to the public.
While informing about the activities and initiatives of the
State Great Khural to promote the Constitution, Senior Advisor D. Lundeejantsan
stressed the importance of giving correct knowledge on the concept and fundamentals of
the Constitution to the public, including giving systematic knowledge to
children and adolescents from an early age.
At the end of the meeting, the Parliamentary Research
Institute and the Hanns Seidel Foundation agreed to collaborate to promote the
Constitution of Mongolia.
