Deputy Foreign Minister receives Non-resident Ambassador of Thailand

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On April 22, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs B.Munkhjin received Non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to Mongolia Atthayut Srisamut.
During the meeting, the Ambassador presented a copy of his Letter of Credence to the Deputy Minister. The Deputy Minister stressed that Mongolia attaches great importance to developing relations with the Kingdom of Thailand, one of Mongolia’s most important partners in Southeast Asia, and noted that there is ample opportunity to cooperate with Thailand in developing tourism as part of the New Revival Policy of the Government of Mongolia.
The Ambassador pledged to pay special attention to
expanding Mongolia-Thailand relations and cooperation, especially in the fields
of trade, economy, and tourism, and expressed support for the development of
business contacts and cooperation.
