Tax revenue increases by MNT 272.8 billion
In the first 2 months of 2019, total equilibrated revenue and grants of the General Government Budget amounted to MNT 1454.3 billion and total expenditure and net lending amounted to MNT 1152.3 billion, resulting a surplus of MNT 302.1 billion in the equilibrated balance.

Total foreign trade turnover increases by 23.4 percent
In the first 2 months of 2019, Mongolia traded with 108 countries from all over the world and total trade turnover reached USD 1.9 billion, of which USD 1.1 billion were made up by exports and USD 837.5 million by imports.

A result of foreign trade for the first 2 months 2019 has been based on 69106 export, and 36415 import customs declarations and other non-customs resources of information. 1804 export and 48 import declarations belong to the goods crossed through seasonal ports.

Six-month emergency regime announced for Erdenet Mining Corporation
The Cabinet on March 6 issued a resolution to set an emergency regime for six months at Erdenet Mining Corporation and Mongolrostsvetmet LLC based on the Law on Government and other related laws. During the period of emergency regime, there will not be interruptions in operations of Erdenet Mining Corporation and Mongolrostsvetmet LLC and financial documents will be inspected only. The Prime Minister set up a working group to implement the resolution.
