The money supply reached MNT 19.5 trillion at the end of December 2018, showing an increase of 4.4 percent from the previous month and by MNT 3.6 trillion or 22.8 percent from the same period of the previous year.
Number of traded securities increased by 4 times
In 2018, 667.3 million pieces of securities worth of MNT 360.2 billion were traded at the national stock market, which is decreased by MNT 1.1 trillion or 75.6 percent compared to the previous year. The Government of Mongolia adopted the ‘Mongolian Export’ program in September 2018. Rare findings of Ordu Baliq under restoration
A fine-designed ancient well was discovered by the ‘Orkhon’ Mongolian-German joint team of archaeologists in the ruins of Ordu Baliq last autumn. Several items including two varnished wooden columns, large gold-plated lock, marble lions, wooden tomb, bronze bell with Chinese writing and various clay utensils were found at the bottom of the well.
