Government of Türkiye Grants 68 Scholarships to Mongolian Students in 2025

Ulaanbaatar, September 19, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to Mongolia, Başak Genç Yüksel, met with representatives of students who have been selected for Türkiye's Government scholarship program and provided them with information on September 17, 2025.
The meeting, organized in cooperation with the Association of Turkish Alumni (ATA), was attended by a Member of the State Great Khural (Parliament) of Mongolia and Head of the Mongolia-Türkiye Parliamentary Group, Zulphar Sarkhad, as a guest of honor. He shared his experiences of studying in the Republic of Türkiye and offered advice and guidance to the students. Ambassador Başak Genç Yüksel and representatives of the ATA provided valuable recommendations and addressed the students’ questions.
The Government of Türkiye has awarded scholarships to 68 Mongolian students this year, with the majority pursuing studies in engineering and the social sciences.
