‘Mongolian Literary Culture’ Exhibition on Display

Ulaanbaatar, September 18, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The “Mongolian Literary Culture” exhibition, curated by collector R. Otgonbaatar, is on display at the Chinggis Khaan National Museum of Mongolia.

 

The exhibition featured illustrated books and sutras that represent a thousand years of Mongolian script. Collector R. Otgonbaatar, driven by his passion, began collecting rare and valuable manuscripts, books, and traditional Mongol script writing instruments during his student years and has exhibited them in Mongolia, as well as in the Russian Federation, the Republic of Poland, the French Republic, and Romania, thereby promoting Mongolian heritage.


During the opening of the "Linguistics and Literary Studies 2025" International Academic Conference, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Linguist Luvsanbaldan Khaltar, PhD, and the 70th birthday of R. Otgonbaatar, PhD, Honorary Doctor of the Institute of Language and Literature, the exhibition was held.


The exhibition will continue until September 27, 2025.
