　2018年度は、モンゴル経済で様々な出来事があった。上半期だけの通貨流通高は3兆2000億トゥグルグ。前年同期比1880億トゥグルグ増えた。年末にかけて経済成長率は6.4％に達すなど良い年であった。

2018年度のモンゴル貿易
　モンゴルは2018年11月時点で、70カ国以上へ物を売り、150カ国以上から物を買っている。その中で、ロシアと中国との貿易が最大の割合を占める。過去12年間の統計によると、貿易収支は2007年から2013年までに赤字（輸入が輸出よりも多い）、2014年から2018年間は、貿易黒字（輸出が輸入を上回る）であった。単純に貿易黒字は外貨獲得を意味し、その幅が大きければ大きいほど、経済・社会発展のためになることは言うまでもない。　モンゴル銀行と関税庁が定期的に公表している統計を基に、貿易における国別収支状況を見てみよう。
