　英国のポータルサイト「Vouchercloud」は、ノーベル賞受賞者数と国民の平均知能指数（IQ）、小学生の学習成績という三つの基準に基づいて評価した「世界で最も賢い国・地域」ランキングを発表した。モンゴルは「世界で最も賢い国・地域」ランキングに入ってないが世界平均IQランキングでは、平均IQが100点で12位にランクされた。

　ゴンボジャブ・ザンダンシャタル内閣官房長官は冬と春の競馬に関する政府の2018年No.19決議によるモンゴル旧暦の最初の月の3日目（今年2月7日）から5月1日までに開催される競馬12歳未満の騎手の参加を禁止する公文書を21県知事らへ送った。

法学等、卓越した学術研究を奨励「チメド賞」、初の女性学士に授与
　国会は、法学に関する学術上特に優れた論文、著書その他の研究業績に対して奨励を目的に「チメド賞」を設けて受賞を毎年の新憲法制定記念日の13日に行っている。今年は、第5回目の授賞式となる。法学会で最も権威ある同賞は、今年は、ハヤンヒャルワー・セレンゲ・モンゴル国立大学法学部教授（公法）へ贈られた。初の女性学士による受賞となった。
