Int’l event runs on developing disabilities and rehabilitation studies
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ This scientific conference took place on Wednesday in Ulaanbaatar within one-month campaign called “Let’s ensure public adequacy and improve capabilities”, co-initiated by the Ministry of Population Development and the National Center for Rehabilitation and Development.
Held on occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the conference attracted some 150 representatives of Australia, South Korea, China, also from state organizations and NGOs that work for the people with disabilities.
The conference has been significant in terms of improving public understanding about disabilities and their early determination, increasing of a number of those studying the disabilities and searching ways of resolving urgent problems occurring in rehabilitation.
