Draft state policy on IT and communication development to be submitted

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At Monday’s regular meeting, the cabinet discussed and approved draft of the State Policy on Information and Communication Development, and resolved to present it to the State Great Khural (parliament).

The initiator says this draft outlines seven basic strategies and 35 objectives, as well as 14 additional objectives aimed at promoting other sectors with the IT development. 

If adopted, the state policy will regulate the comprehensive actions toward improving Mongolia’s growth and economic competitiveness by making the IT services publicly available and by applying the latest achievements in information and communication technologies to the country’s economic growth, says the official.
