Ambassador to Thailand presents diplomatic credentials

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Kingdom of Thailand T.Togsbilguun has presented the diplomatic credentials to His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn of Thailand, at the Royal Palace in Bangkok, the Mongolian Embassy website reported Thursday.

After this ceremony, Mr Tugsbilguun paid a courtesy call on His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn. The Ambassador conveyed warmest greetings from the Mongolian President to His Royal Highness Crown Prince, to His Majesty King and Her Majesty Queen of Thailand, as well as to members of the Royal Family.

The Ambassador pledged to do his utmost to broaden friendly relations and cooperation between Mongolia and the Kingdom of Thailand.

In response, Crown Prince thanked the Ambassador and extended his wishes to the leader of Mongolia and said Thailand and Mongolia have always enjoyed close friendly relations and cordially rendered mutual assistance and support to each other in various fields.

The Crown Prince mentioned that Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn has visited Mongolia twice and expressed a satisfaction with a successful performance of the School Lunch Project implemented under her patronage for rural children in Mongolia.

The Crown Prince also expressed a confidence that "amicable ties of friendship between Thailand and Mongolia will be reinforced and will contribute to good understanding, stability and lasting peace not only for two countries but also for the countries of the region and throughout the world".
