Decisive Support squadron returns home
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On December 21, servicemen of military protection unit, commanded by Lieutenant-Colonel N.Erdenebayar, returned home after completing a mission in collaboration with the German army peacekeepers under NATO’s Decisive Support mission in Afghanistan.
Mongolian squadron of peacekeepers has been observing their duties in Afghanistan by joining Decisive Support on January 1 of 2015. The mission aims to improve capacity of force ensuring Afghanistan’s national security, train, supervise and assist the military force there. Today, more than 12 thousand military personnel from NATO and partner countries are serving in the Decisive Support mission.
Mongolian army continues to fulfill its duties before the international and regional security by observing peacetime responsibilities of promoting security.
