President: Benefit will go to all children as before
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Heads of State, Government and Parliament have agreed on allowing benefits for all children regardless of their families’ living conditions and incomes, the President Ts.Elbegdorj tweeted on Tuesday.
Some changes were made last year to the regulation on allowing children’s benefit from the Human Development Fund, outlining the money will go to the 0-18 aged kids but from vulnerable families only. Since then, the public has been demanding a reconsideration of this “discriminating” decision. This served as a reason for the President, PM and Speaker to hold the meeting and decide to take necessary measures for shifting to the previous system.
“Children’s benefit is Mongolia’s policy toward growing in numbers and in good health”, added Ts.Elbegdorj in the tweet.
