Developmental forum of Mongolia runs in Boston

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ This forum took place for the first time last weekend in Boston city, the USA with key objectives to seek developmental solutions for Mongolia, to find out ways of resolving social-economic problems and to propagandize Mongolia throughout the world, says the website of the Mongolian Embassy in the USA.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the USA Mr B.Altangerel made the opening remarks at the forum, which ran with support from a scientific institute of the Harvard University at the initiative of Mongolian students studying at the Harvard School of Management, Leadership, and Decision Sciences.

Reports were delivered by Ricardo Hausmann, a professor of the Harvard University; Courtney Engelke, a representative of the Millennium Challenge Account; S.Javkhlanbaatar, head of the Investment Authority of Mongolia; and Steve Saunders, the president of the North America-Mongolia Business Council.

The forum also attracted about 80 people such as S.Sukhbold, the Permanent Representative of Mongolia to the United Nations; David King and Steve Jarding, lectures from the Harvard University; Mongolian students of the university; universities in Boston, New York and Washington DC.
