O.Gundegmaa wins bronze medal in Thailand
SportsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A State Honored Sportswoman and Olympic silver medalist has grabbed a bronze medal in the women’s 25 m pistol contest of the ISSF Rifle and Pistol World Cup running in Bangkok, Thailand.
In the contest of the women’s 25 m, O.Gundegmaa collected 588 points in the preliminary round. A countrywoman Ts.Monkhzul IMS came to the 10th place, having 577 points.
A gold medal of the contest went to Zhang Jingjing of China, and the silver medal--to a South Korean shooter Park Hyun Joo.
Over 330 athletes from 49 countries are competing in the World Cup tournament in Bangkok, which offers the last chance to achieve Minimum Qualification Scores before the 2016 Olympic Games.
