State Secretary D.Gankhuyag meets his Turkish counterpart
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ State Secretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia D.Gankhuyag met the deputy Undersecretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Ali Kemal Aydin on March 9 in Ankara of Turkey, to discuss the ties and cooperation between the two countries.
Mr Aydin remarked about a successful development of the bilateral comprehensive partnership and expressed an interest to upgrade it to strategic level, after which the sides shared opinions on ways of boosting economic ties.
Mr Gankhuyag expressed a satisfaction with his visit to Turkey, with whom Mongolia has strong connections from ancient times, and highlighted an importance of the 8th meeting of Mongolia-Turkey Intergovernmental Joint Committee on Trade and Economy, which will take place in Ulaanbaatar soon.
The dignitaries also discussed ways of supporting each other in UN platform and of activating ties.
Present were, the Ambassador of Mongolia to the Republic of Turkey B.Batkhishig, the Consul-General of Mongolia in Istanbul E.Monkh-Ochir, and officials from the two Ministries.
