Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In scope of his official visit, the Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation S.V.Lavrov Thursday gave a lecture in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs about a Russian policy over Northeast Asia. He also highlighted his views on combating terrorism.

"Armed conflicts and clashes are spreading around the world. Neither those countries in clashes, nor biggest international organizations are able to resolve the problems today. As the international relations have brought into a new level recent years, it is developing through a relatively unified way, so we have to unite against conflicts and clashes,” Mr Lavrov emphasized.

“It is nonsense that countries are awaiting good things only by defending themselves from conflicts. Actually, the largest international organizations such as UN, Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Brics are lack of potential to combat terrorism nowadays. But it is important these organizations should unite to fight against terrorism. On this matter, Russia actively expresses its position,” he said.

Following the lecture, Dr J.Bayasakh, a teacher on international relations, proposed holding joint trainings to support the ties between thetwo  countries’ scholars.

The Russian FM thankfully accepted this suggestion.
