Z.Enkhbold visits Prime Polymer company in Japan

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On a working visit in Japan, Parliament Speaker Z.Enkhbold got familiar with activities of the Japanese Prime Polymer company on Friday.

“Mongolia is one of the richest countries in coal and iron ore reserves in the world. A discussion held between the Mongolian Speaker and the Japan PM which touched upon a matter on a technology of gasifying coal really made sense to us. We will show you a process of producing Polypropylene by gasifying coal,” said Haruhiko Ando, the deputy director-general of the Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.

Director of the Mitsui Chemicals company Tsukasa Iida briefed about his company, saying that this company was established in 1997, and it employs 14,364 workers. The Prime Polymer is one of the 143 associate companies at the Mitsui Chemicals.

The Speaker exchanged views with the companies’ leaders concerning a chance for exchanging experiences and cooperating in the coal market and other raw materials.
