Money supply increases
EconomyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ According to a report of the Bank of Mongolia, money supply (broad money or M2) reached MNT 10.7 trillion at the end of May 2016, which increased by 218.8 billion MNT or 2.1 percent against last month and by MNT 891.7 billion or 9.1 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
At end of May 2016, currency issued in circulation reached MNT 788.3 billion, which decreased by 43.2 billion MNT or 5.8 percent against the previous month and by 5.4 billion or 0.7 percent compared to the same period of last year.
