Housing price index is declining
EconomyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Bank of Mongolia has reported that the housing price index (HPI) was 2.3% in June of this year, which is lower by 1.1% than May.
This percentage is also lower by 3.0% against the beginning of 2016 and by 10.3% against the same period of 2015.
Comparing housing indices for old and new apartments, the price index of newly-built apartments was 15.5% which declined by 1.0% against May 2016, by 3.0% against beginning of 2016, and by 8.7% compared to the same period of 2015.
The price index of old apartments was -5.9% which decreased by 0.7% against May, by 4.5% against beginning of 2016 and by 12.5% against the same period of 2015.
