Number of pensioners rises
EconomyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Social Insurance Fund revenue and expenditure amounted to MNT 1119.3 billion and MNT 1112.6 billion respectively in the first 8 months of 2016. It shows increase of MNT 229.9 billion (25.8%) and 92.6 billion (9.1%) respectively compared with the end of August, 2015.
A total of MNT 96.2 billion was distributed from the Social Welfare Fund to 214.8 thousand people as pensions and welfare benefits. The number of beneficiaries increased by 22.1 thousand or 11.5 percent, while the total size of pensions and subsidies decreased by MNT 1962.5 million (2.0%) compared with the same period of 2015.
