Mongolian national football team to be trained by German coach

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Hans Michael Weiss, a German coach was appointed as a leading coach of the Mongolian national football team. This decision was made by a meeting of the Executive Committee of Mongolian Football Federation held on January 17.

Hans Michael Weiss is a professional coach (UEFA Pro) and speaks fluent English, Japanese and French. He has great experiences in coaching and has worked as a coach of the Philippine national football team (FIFA Ranking 122), Burudi national football team (Rwanda FIFA ranking 93), Japanese national football team of “J League” and Chinese Olympic team.   

Hans Michael Weiss expressed his readiness to pay attention on coaching education in order to solve challenges faced by Mongolian national football teams.

Hans holds bachelor’s degree in sports science and management from University of Mainz. The West German born former goalkeeper does not have a glittering coach career – his notable achievement is taking Philippines to their highest ever FIFA Ranking, 127.
