Ulaanbaatar Railway to co-operate with Kazakhstan in railway engineering
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ D.Jigjidnyamaa, head of “Ulaanbaatar Railways” JSC signed a memorandum of co-operation with K.K.Alpysbayev, head of “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy” JSC on January 30.
Supply of locomotives, freight cars, rails, turnouts and other railway products made in Kazakhstan will be supplied to Mongolia with the document, which is aimed at fostering ties in the field of railway engineering.
With its high developed railways, Kazakhstan manufactures innovative technologies, freight trains and other railway devices. Kazakhstan’s railroad is considered the most efficient corridor in Euro-Asia with 16500 km railroad. Also, new railroad from Beijing to London via Kazakhstan has been opened recently.
