Photographers to capture modern Ulaanbaatar

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On the occasion of World Press Freedom Day which falls on May 3, Mayor’s Office has announced a photography contest themed ‘Modern Ulaanbaatar’.
Inviting journalists, media personnel, professional and amateur photographers to submit their works in JPEG format to batbaatar.m@ulaanbaatar.mn, the contest requires photographs mirroring the life in Ulaanbaatar with its history, mood, colors and liveliness. Also, proper use of photo enhancers such as Photoshop is acceptable, the organizers note.
Photographs will be accepted until May 10. The Mayor’s Office is planning to hold an exhibition on May 15, displaying the best photographs of the capital city and awarding the selected photographers. The prize fund of the contest is MNT 6 million.
