Deputy Foreign Minister receives Japanese State Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ B.Battsetseg, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs received Kenji Harada, member of the House of Representatives and State Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan on May 2, 2017.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs B.Battsetseg highlighted the extent of high level Strategic Partnership between Mongolia and Japan, increase in visit frequencies and deepened political trust, further noting the importance of taking Strategic Partnership to the next level.



State Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan Mr. Kenji Harada emphasized the 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries and expressed his pleasure in visiting Mongolia. After informing Japan’s bid to hold World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Mr. Kenji Harada requested Mongolia’s support in the matter.  

World Expo 1970 was held in Osaka, Japan for the first time. Under the theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives”, Japan submitted for bid to hold World Expo in 2025.
