Helicopters to be deployed for delivering ballot papers

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The second polling of 2017 Presidential election of Mongolia will take place on June 7, while the polling for Mongolians abroad is scheduled on July 4-5.
Accordingly, the General Election Commission is researching for a reliable short-term delivering methods required for the election. For instance, possibilities of delivering ballot papers through helicopters to some soums were discussed with General Staff of the Armed Forces and the defense force agreed on providing support.
Furthermore, Civil Aviation Authority and Aero Mongolia have agreed to provide necessary technologies for delivering ballot papers for the election.
