Asia Oceania Service Meeting of AA taking place in Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The 12th Asia Oceania Service Meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) started today in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia with an attendance of 100 delegates from 15 countries, including General Manager and manager in charge of foreign relations of AA.
Being held under the theme ‘Preserving the integrity of carrying the message’, the 12th meeting declares the principle conceal personal information of AA members, respecting human rights, when distributing or publishing news and information about the non-profit organization to the public. AA’s Asia Oceana branches are exchanging views with each other during the meeting.
It has been 20 years since the AA Mongolia was established and 101 AA groups in world countries have over 3 thousand members as of now. Alcoholics Anonymous, an international fellowship of men and women who want to do something about his or her drinking problem, has a principle to hide the identity and private information of its members on social media.
The meeting is being organized from July 6 to 9 in Tuushin Hotel in Ulaanbaatar.
