'Aida' opera to be performed on opening of new season

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet open its 55th performance season with the opera Aida by Giuseppe Verdi, on October 7-8.
In whole year of 2016, the theatre performed opera and ballet by switching them on Saturdays and Sundays. This year, only one performance will be staged on weekends. Although one opera or ballet will be played consistently for weekends for whole year, it will not be monotonous because the performers--solo singers and ballerinas will be changed permanently and the performance is well organized, the theatre officials said.
