NGOs to perform some duties of government agencies

According to the resolution of the Council, NGOs will give assistance to works of publicizing law drafts, development policy of the aimag, long and middle term policy documents and conducting public discussions, polls, receiving public input and reporting results. The NGOs will also perform duties, including publicizing state and local authority decisions, promoting them, conducting surveys and studies, making monitoring and control in accordance with the Budget Transparency law and having people’s voice heard on spending of the Soum Development Fund.
Moreover, assessment on implementation of Governor’s action plan, public monitoring and assessment on state services and realization and performance of decisions made by the aimag Governor and CRM will be made by NGOs.
