International conference discussing Constitutional amendment

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The International Cooperation Fund at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is hosting an international conference themed ‘Constitutional Amendment: The Case of Mongolia’ on October 18-19.
The two-day conference facilitates a constructive discussion on the Constitutional principles, human rights, freedom, enforcement of the Constitution and improvement of procedure on drafting the amendment to the Constitution.
The conference is being attended by more than 80 foreign and domestic government officials, scholars, experts and representatives of civil society and international organizations including Kemelova Dinara Amanturovna, First Deputy Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Muhammad Farhad Azimi, a Member of the National Assembly of Afghanistan and Sonam Tobgye, former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Bhutan.
The conference is one of the series of events organized by the International Cooperation Fund, which was established in 2013 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by the initiative of President. The International Cooperation Fund aims to share experiences democratic path, human rights and market economy in Mongolia.
