Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ For the first time, children from Mongolia participated in the international children’s camp ‘Rosatom School’, annually organized with the help of the Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation ROSATOM.
This year’s shift ran on December 2-13 in Thailand, bringing together 70 children from Mongolia, Hungary, India, Vietnam and other countries.
The Mongolian children partook in the event within the frameworks of cooperation between ROSATOM and MON-ATOM State-owned company of Mongolia.
The children were accompanied by a professional team of creative teachers, who involved them into events full of teamwork, helped overcome language barriers and become friends, and had a lot of activities to choose from: dancing, jogging, playing football and sand-hockey, creating photos, trying themselves as actors during the theatre performance or enjoying the beautiful view of tropical landscapes during a leisurely walk along the beach. Camp participants took part in quests and logical games, got an unforgettable elephant ride, visited the Buddha Temple and tasted the famous blue Thai tea.

14-year-old Burte Nyamkhuu from Mongolia said, "My English and cultural knowledge improved greatly during these days. The organization of this camp was interesting and our teachers were funny and friendly."
13-year-old Tuguldur Munkhbold said, "I conceived that the world is more different and huge after coming to this camp. I got many friends who came from abroad, and thanks to them, I have broadened my knowledge."
Thus, the main goal of the project, which is "to strengthen the friendship between children of employees of nuclear industry enterprises and to create favourable conditions for the realization of kids creativity" was achieved, said ROSATOM in a press release issued on this week.
