National forum on gender and development to be held on Thursday

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection will organize a national forum ‘Gender and Development’ under the auspicious of Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh in the State House on February 01.
During the forum, global trends towards gender and state policy on gender equality will be introduced and Law on Gender Equality and the national program will be promoted. Over 500 representatives from 21 aimags, 9 districts, government and non-government organizations, civil society and media organizations are expected to attend the forum.

Moreover, Prime Minister U.khurelsulkh, Minister of Labor and Social Protection S.Chinzorig and representatives of the sector will deliver reports with an aim to intensify cooperation among state, private and media organizations to achieve gender equality.
