Tuv aimag to have world standards football field

Tuv /MONTSAME/ Tuv aimag will have a new world standard football field worth of MNT 800 million and the ground-breaking ceremony was held on April 30 in the slope of Bogd Khan Mountain.
Mongolia has national football teams in nine age categories and taking part in international matches. However weather and environmental conditions cause difficulties to make trainings. To tackle this issue, a project on establishment of a training center for national teams was initiated by the Mongolian Football Federation (MFF) and is being implemented in Tuv aimag, said Sh.Jargalsaikhan, Head of Technical Department of the MFF.
The three year project is being financed from the International Football Federation and ‘Greenfield’ Company of Holland will work as a contractor and ‘Derennaran’ as an assistant contractor.
An additional football field with closed (retractable) roof is planned to be built. Therefore the new training center will be contributive to our national teams to save their time and expenses for training abroad and it will create favorable condition to develop football sport in locality, noted G.Lkhagvasuren, Director of Physical Culture and Sports Office of the province.
