Ambassador to Cuba participates in international tourism fair

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Ts.Batbayar, Ambassador of Mongolia to the Republic of Cuba, and the staff of the Embassy of Mongolia in Havana participated in the opening ceremony of the “FitCuba XXXVIII” International Tourism Fair, which took place on May 2-5, 2018.
During the Fair, Ambassador Ts.Batbayar attended the seminar, conducted by Mr.Manuel Marrero Cruz, Tourism Minister of Cuba.
The Fair was held in the Santa Maria tourist zone of the Villa Clara region of Cuba, one of the most modern and attractive places of Cuba, which is situated 400 kilometers from Havana, within the framework of boosting local tourism and attracting investments to the region. Cuba received 4.7 million tourists in 2017. United Kingdom of the Great Britain and Northern Ireland was the honorary guest of this year’s fair.
