Mongolian Football Federation receives award from AFC Dream Asia 2018

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Mongolian Football Federation (MFF) has become the first recipients of Aspiring Award, which is one of the three new categories – Inspiring, Developing and Aspiring, from the Dream Asia Awards 2018 of the Asian Football Confederation.  

At the award ceremony on September 12, Deputy Chair of the MFF Ch.Munkhzul said, “I would like to express gratitude to the Asian Football Federation for giving us this honorable award on behalf of President of the MFF A.Ganbaatar and our colleagues. The MFF will keep contributing to the development of football and unity of Asia continent”.

The MFF was rewarded with USD15 thousand for future social responsibility activities. 

This year, the Chinese Football Association (CFA) and Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) have received the remaining two awards such as Inspiring and Developing along with the MFF, proving that they are leading the continent with their social responsibility causes. 

Within its policy to develop football and make it public sport, the MFF has been organizing various activities towards introducing roles and significance of football sport in the society.   

In 2018, the MFF conducted training and seminars themed ‘Empowering Women Through Football’ for youths and girls, selected special representatives of Olympic Games for its assembly as well as formulated a four-year action plan ‘Social responsibility policy and vision of the MFF’. With these efforts, MFF met the requirement of the award, reported the MFF.
