Being 737-800 aircrew consisted of 19 members from the Mongolian Airlines (MIAT), national flag carrier returned home country after successfully completing the wet lease to the Travel Service Airlines of the Czech Republic with aim of opening gate to Europe.
Many airlines around the world assess MIAT crews as having good time management and flight performance and the wet lease agreement was established upon the repeated requests. The aircrew performed flights to 55 routes in Europe for five months.
MIAT Deputy Director Sh.Gantulga said, “Our company crew have accomplished their task successfully, raising reputation of Mongolian air transporters. The crew performed 400 to 450 hour- flights per month without any failures with an aircraft that flies for 300 hours.”
MIAT has been wet leasing its aircrafts to the Travel Service Airlines over the last four years. Travel Service, one of the biggest airlines in the Czech Republic has been operating since 1998.
