Mongolian State Morin Khuur Ensemble to receive Japanese Foreign Minister’s commendation

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On November 1, the ceremony to award the Japanese Foreign Minister’s commendation to the Mongolian State Morin Khuur Ensemble will take place at the Japanese Embassy in Ulaanbaatar. The commendation is awarded to individuals and groups with outstanding achievements in international fields, to acknowledge their significant contributions to the promotion of friendship between Japan and other countries.
Since 1996, the State Morin Khuur Ensemble has significantly contributed to the two countries’ friendly relations by participating in numerous programs and events organized by the countries. The award is considered as one of the most highly respected awards to be ranked after the award honored by the Japanese Emperor.
