'Green Gateway of Business' Forum to discuss realization of sustainable development

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In the frameworks of the ‘Education for Sustainable Development’ project, the Ministry of Environment and Tourism is working to implement environmental management system (EMS) in companies and supporting the development of businesses that are environmentally friendly as well as resource savvy.
Representatives of government organizations and projects as well as heads of businesses that are of this sector will be gathering for the Green Gateway of Business National Forum on November 16.
Current policies on green businesses, projects that are being implemented, global trend and business opportunities will be introduced and representatives of successful businesses that implemented EMS will be sharing their experiences. A discussion will take place under the theme, ‘Leveraging in Green Business’, to discuss possible future opportunities in the sector.
At the start of the forum, Head of Green Development Policy Department at the Ministry of Environment and Tourism T.Bulgan will introduce policies and projects that are being currently implemented in support of green businesses.
The Education for Sustainable Development project is being implemented by the German Agency for International Cooperation GIZ with the support of Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
